Career Development's mission is to educate and empower students and alumni in making career decisions, support their understanding of self through career exploration and connect them with opportunities that prepare them to thrive in meaningful work.

  • Hannah Su Hepler, MA

    Hannah Su Hepler is the Director of Career Development. She has years of expertise in higher education and counseling. Hannah manages the office’s operations, supervises the undergraduate student employees, and provides personalized career consultations for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni. She is instrumental in fostering and maintaining strong partnerships across campus.

    Hannah earned a BA in Psychology and Creative Writing from Point Park University and an MA in Student Affairs in Higher Education with a focus on College Counseling from Slippery Rock University. She is dedicated to amplifying students’ voices, empowering them to advocate for themselves, and adapting to their evolving needs to ensure their success. Outside of her professional life, Hannah enjoys visiting Fuku Tea and playing Pokémon Go.

  • Josh Zeigler, MA

    Assistant Director of Employer Relations

    Joshua Zeigler serves the Assistant Director for Employer Relations. Josh holds a variety of experiences in industries ranging from food service to education, most recently serving as a Career Coach at Slippery Rock University. He is responsible for cultivating and maintaining the University’s relationships with employers from within and beyond the Pittsburgh region. He additionally meets with undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni, through one-on-one client-guided career consultations; and works with Hannah to strengthen partnerships across campus.

    Josh is a double alumnus of Slippery Rock University holding a B.M. in Music Education, as well as a M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education. His philosophy emphasizes puts students in the driver’s seat, providing them the encouragement, tools, and knowledge needed to author their own stories. He believes in the importance of embracing the uncomfortable, or “hugging the cactus,” in finding success and joy in life. Outside of work he can be found at the greenhouse, buying plants he doesn’t have room for.

  • Grace Conde, BA

    Assistant Director of Experiential Learning

    Grace Marie Conde is the Assistant Director of Experiential Learning at Chatham University. She oversees the university’s internship program, connecting students with learning experiences that prepare them for their careers. She provides guidance on navigating internships and the application process, helping students gain valuable professional experience. In addition, Grace manages the Student Employment program, streamlining processes to ensure meaningful skill development opportunities.

    Grace earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Vermont and is proficient in Russian and French. She also completed intensive immersion programs at Middlebury College. With a background in instruction, Grace has worked in various teaching and coaching roles, including ski instruction and language education. This experience informs her student-centered approach to develop the confidence, adaptability, and professional skills necessary for success. Outside of work, Grace can be found in direct sunlight, exploring new adventures and finding new friends.
