Professional Dress Closet

The Professional Dress Closet is a resource for students to borrow professional clothes for career-related events, such as career fairs, job or internship interviews, or other networking opportunities. The closet can be found in the downstairs area in James Laughlin Music Hall. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Check Out Procedure

  1. Scope out the closet for whatever professional attire you need.

  2. Make sure you are able to provide your student ID number.

  3. Speak to a Student Assistant about what you would like to borrow.

  4. Wear your cool clothes

  5. Wash the borrowed items

  6. Return borrowed items to Career Development by checking in with a Student Assistant.

Students are welcome to keep borrowed items. If you don’t see anything in the Professional Dress Closet feel free to reach out to careers@chatham.edu or call at (412)-365-1209 to talk about the referral process and partnership the office has with Dress for Success Pittsburgh.
