Career Development offers a broad range of services, programs, and resources to aid in career readiness and professional development—lifelong.
Career Readiness
Career readiness is a foundation from which to demonstrate requisite core competencies that broadly prepare a student for success in the workplace and navigating professional life. At Career Development we don’t just edit resumes and cover letters, we help you cultivate qualities that make you stand out and build the resilience and persistence that will serve you throughout your professional life.

The primary focus of the office is to equip students and alumni with a broad range of tools, resources, and skills that empower them towards self-authorship; to explore, identify, and pursue a fulfilling career path; and to make informed and meaningful career decisions.

Many Chatham students spent this past summer semester completing an internship. These internships allow students the chance to engage with future careers paths and explore their interests outside of the classroom. Students find that this experiential learning can often solidify their future professional choices, and are extremely useful in preparing them to continue building their skillset and knowledge.
